This wine is the first of the red wines produced at Pianetto, this full-bodied, harmonious wine pays homage to the estate's previous owner, Baron Antonio Palizzolo di Ramione. It was him who initiated the cultivation of vines in this area. A smooth and well-balanced wine, Ramione, harmoniously expresses the different peculiarities of its terroir, concentrating them in a single essence.

Colour

Clear ruby red.

Bouquet

Intense, fine and complex. Fruity with notes of red berries, raspberry cranberry and blackberry with final spicy aromas of vanilla and liquorice.

Flavour

Ready and harmonious, warm, quite tasty, complex and persistent. A full-bodied wine with enveloping tannins.

Pairing

It pairs well with aged cheeses and roast lamb.

Ageing In French oak barriques for 12 months, new, second and third passages depending on the vintage. Finally, in the bottle for 24 months.
