The Rum produced in Peru has very unique and unique characteristics, in fact it is a distilled that is grown and produced at vertiginous heights, so it takes the aroma and particular taste from Peruvian lands. The Cartavio Solera is certainly the most famous rum produced in Peru, the raw material with which it is processed is molasses, very sweet that of the Peruvian lands. Sugar cane production of this Rum is grown in the renowned "city of eternal spring", Trujillo, located in the Chicama valley. The city of Cartavio is located in an area with a desert ecosystem and low rainfall, an ideal climate for the growth and development of sugar cane. Drip irrigation uses only water from the Andes, a type of water rich in minerals and nutrients. This type of controlled irrigation is the real difference, because the lack of water increases the sucrose rate, bringing it up to three times higher than that of theCaribbean rod. In this way the barrel of thePeru becomes the richest in the world. ThisPeruvian rum has received numerous awards in recent years and has won international awards, now it is considered one of thebest rums in the world.
