Gordon & Macphail Whisky Caol Ila Islay 2004
The words "Caol Ila", in Gaelic language, indicate the strait separating Jura from Islay Island, located on the west coast of Scotland. "Caol Ila" is also the name of the only distillery on the east, whose almonds are heated every morning by the light of dawn. Using only locally produced malt and pure water, the Caol Ila distillery whiskeys are really excellent.

Colour

Yellow pale gold.

Bouquet

The nose is delicious with smelling hints and smells of green apple, pineapple and vanilla. Secondly, you can see shades of mint and peat.

Flavour

The palate is initially sweet, then citrus and finally smoked. The final is long and balanced.

Pairing

If stretched with water, it exalts the mentholated, citrus and fruity aromas.
