50% or more germany spirits

Germany's wine production can be dated back to the second century AD, in the times of the Roman occupation. Already then, there were traces of cultivation of vines, which led to a long tradition in the production of renowned wines and spirits. Key German wine regions are:
  • Ahr
  • Moselle-Saar-Ruwe
  • Middle Rhine
  • Rheingau
  • Nahe
  • Nahe
  • Hessen Renana
  • Palatinate
  • Hesse Bergstraße
  • Bergstraße
  • Franconia
  • Württemberg
  • Baden
  • All these regions are located along the Rhine. However, after the re-unification- the easternmost regions of Saale-Unstrut and Saxony were added to the list. The atmospheric conditions of these regions are very favourable for the cultivation of the vines. The massifs around the Rhine in the Moselle valley, in fact, protect the vineyards from the cold and the winds of the North, ensuring a temperate climate, never subject to frost. Such favourable conditions have also facilitated the production of spirits, paying particular attention to Gin. In addition. other spirits such as Acquavite, Whiskey, Brandy and many types of Frutt liquors are also produced, obtained from the distillation of apples, prunes, raspberries, cherries and other fruits and spices.
