The agave used for Villa Lobos is entirely collected by agaveros from the plantations of the Camarena family in Los Altos, in the famous Highlands Arandas, thus guaranteeing only the sweetest and most mature agave. It is a perfect example of Tequila handcrafted with passion and care in a traditional way.
Villa Lobos uses Agave azul tequilana Weber collected at 6-7 years, in the geographical area of Arandas, Jalisco. The agave cooks for 2 days and remains in the oven for 2 days to cool, the juice of the fibers is fermented spontaneously without adding yeasts, each batch has different flavors as well as in the true tradition of craftsmanship. It is a unique tequila, different from all the others on the market, that does not need colored and expensive bottles, or extravagant packaging, the liquor speaks for itself.
