Vadiaperti Azienda Agricola

At the end of the nineteenth century Antonio Troisi, emigrated to America, was the owner of one of the most important Italian wine import companies in the United States and personally guaranteed the quality of the wine he had selected in the best production lands in Italy. After Antonio's untimely death, his wife, Elisa Longo, led the vineyards on the hills of Montefredane, helped by his sons Antonio, Vittoria, Franca and Giuseppina.

Just Antonio Troisi, after decades of wine activity, in 1984, produced the first bottle of Fiano di Avellino.

In the early 1990s, while continuing the process of enhancing the varietal typicality of grapes and wines, linked to the territory, Antonio and Raffaele identified a foxtail, particularly widespread in the province of Avellino, no longer a cutting grape, as foreseen in the production regulations for Greco di Tufo, but as a grape from which to obtain a wine with a typical geographical indication worthy of having a bottle and a label of its own.

Today, after the premature death of Antonio, his son Raffaele pursues with the same passion and the same rigor, the rules and principles, learned from his father and grandmother in the management of the vineyards and in the production of wines.
