R. Faivre

Our story begins in 1953, with the creation of our Champagne House in Belval-sous-Chatillon. Its founder is my grandfather: Robert Faivre. The technical-economic model of the time was based on the pooling of materials, equipment and men. It is in this context that Robert decided to join the cooperative system.

My father, Bernard, courageously took over the operation on the same cooperative model, in the early 70s after the death of his brother, before David followed in their footsteps by taking over in 2000.From the beginning of the 2000s, convinced that it was necessary to modify our cultural practices towards more sustainable viticulture, we imposed on ourselves a specification allowing us to obtain the healthiest possible grapes.

In 2008 came the first reflection on vinification on the farm, making it possible to concretely link cultural practices to the final product. A first stage of the process is carried out with the creation of the pressing center.

In 2016, we received the double HVE (High Environmental Value) & Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certification, which rewards our environmental commitment.

On the strength of these environmental commitments, we therefore decided to leave the cooperative model in 2017. Since then, we have been producing our own cuvées with the help of our expert Richard Dailly.

Today we are proud to offer you a range of champagne wines imprinted with a true unique terroir identity, consistent with our environmental convictions.
