After receiving an inheritance from his father André Tremblay part of the domaine, Joëlle, along with her husband Pascal Bouchard, also a vintner, he decided to implement the wine business, planting new vines, on land owned by the best possible exposure. Currently, in the area of Chablis, the company of Pascal Bouchard has about 33 hectares of vineyards, and is managed by the same Joëlle and Pascal, with the help of his sons Romain and Damien. Eschewing the use of chemicals and herbicides in the vineyard, and choosing to do only fermenting the must with native yeasts, those produced by Domaine Bouchard Chablis are reflecting the most of the terroir from which they come, characterized by freshness, minerality and authentic style.
