Haras de Pirque is located in the northern part of Chile’s Maipo valley, known for its production of high quality wine.
The collaboration between Haras de Piruqe, an excellent producer in the zone, and the Antinori Marquises, was born from the mutual desire to explore Chile’s potential. Albis, the wine which has become the symbol of the union of the two houses, between the Old World and the New World, combines two moving spirits in one: the fruit of an international grape, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenère, the Chilean grape par excellence. It reflects all the typical characteristics of Chile’s terrorir and the unique spirit of two trailblazing producers.
In addition, the conviction that the Andean viticultural zone of Chile represents a natural habitat for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, has convinced the Marchesi Antinori firm to begin a project aimed at the production of a wine from this distinctive variety, thereby giving birth to Albaclara.
