Fabien Duperray is the owner of this Domaine and has bought some small lots of very old vines in Fleurie and Moulin-a-Vent in some really special terroirs;
the youngest are 65 and the oldest are 100 years old.
About 9 hectares and not even a tractor for work in the vineyards. The land is worked by hand and with the help of horses. The yields are very low. The fermentation takes place in cement tanks and then in 400-liter barriques and aged for a period of 36 months before bottling.
Fabien uses only the best stoppers available for his wines and then the bottles are dipped by hand in wax to ensure that no oxidation occurs.
