To obtain a quality wine, the terroir and the choice of grape varieties are obviously not enough: the vine requires numerous interventions by the winegrower over the course of the seasons. At the Domaine du Poyet, these interventions are carried out according to the principle of integrated farming.
In contrast to the massive chemical treatments of the classic method, integrated cultivation is adapted to each situation and attempts to minimise chemical interventions to the strict minimum. Intermediate between the traditional and organic production methods, it uses agropharmaceutical products, but without excess.
