Many years ago, the man, the icon and the legend that today is Richard Paterson decided to develop a malt whiskey designed to complement with the best Cuban cigars. His idea was that this whiskey should be deep and sweet with notes of caramel, fruit and oranges from Seville. It should also have a creaminess with hints of butter to complete the spicy smoky flavor of the best Havana. The whiskeys are produced by an iconic distillery and matured in a combination of American boubon cask (50%) and Sherry (50%) by Pedro Ximenez. Bottled at 46%, without dyes or additives.
