Located on the hillside of Barsac, Château Piada is indicated in "Les Hommages d'Aquitaine' in 1274, as one of the oldest vineyards in Sauternes and Barsac. Since 1989, Jean-Frédéric Lalande perpetuates this boasting.
A wonderful example is costituit its wines on the sunny plateau of Illats, in a terroir rich in clay and limestone.
Many citations in journals reward the efforts of the Properties, in the application of these principles of uncompromising quality. Harvest and vinification at Château Piada are made with the utmost care.
