Chateau Marjosse

"Fifteen years ago, I was lucky enough to be able to take over the Chateau Marjosse in Tizac de Curton. The charm of the location and the buildings had seduced me, as well as the quality of the grounds and old vines. From the very first vintages, the will to carry out a quality work allowed me to make good wines and to make known the Marjosse brand on the Place de Bordeaux.

The main advantage of marjosse is to possess an exceptional terroir. A rare occurrence in the Entre-Deux-Mers, the limestone at Astries, the same one that made the wines of Saint Emilion famous, comes here to the outcrop. Marjosse has taken a new step. Several very qualitative plots could be added to the vineyard. High-density replanting made it possible to better exploit the excellence of its terroir."
