Chateau Haut-Plantade

The vineyard was born in 1975. Alain and Francine Plantade transformed and planted a plot of a little more than a hectare conserved of the sale of the Domaine du Bergey. They created the Château Ponteil Bergey vineyard, which saw its first vintage in 1978. Ponteil Bergey became the Château Haut-Plantade in 1988. Today, Alain Plantade, if he sold his Belgian and Martinique clientele, continues to visit his French clientele.

Vincent Plantade took over the estate in 1988 after studying viticulture and oenology. He was married in 2009 to Mathilde Meynard, daughter of a lawyer from Tulle, who met during the harvest at the estate in 2007. The long line of the Plantade continued in 2009 with the birth of Lazare and then Jeanne in 2012. After new plantations, the estate is now approaching the eleven hectares.
