Camille Paquet

The Domaine Camille Paquet is a very recent wine-making reality, founded by Camille Paquet a few years ago, in 2015. Camille has always had to do with viticulture: he is in fact the son of Micheal, owner of the Domaine des Valanges, located in the southern part of Burgundy, in Davayé, a small town in the heart of the Mâconnais.

Camille, after studying oenology at the University of Beaune, took the first steps into important realities in France, to then gain experience abroad, in Australia. After a few years he decided to return to Burgundy, and took his first steps within the family business. Too much, however, was the desire to be able to do things in his own way, a stimulus that led him to devote himself to a new project, purchasing a few vineyard plots within the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation and thus founding the Domaine that bears his name. We are always inside the Mâconnais, in a denomination, that of the Poully-Fuissé, where a single vine dominates, the great chardonnay.

The agricultural practices are respectful of the land and the environment surrounding the vineyards, and for this reason chemical treatments are reduced to a minimum, preferring biological fertilizers. Each phase of the production process is carefully monitored by Camille, who dedicates herself heart and soul to the production of quality products.
