Areas of cultivation Udine Geographical conditions: alluvial plain, progradation of alluvial conoids from the Tagliamento and Cormor moraine amphitheatre, protected to the north and east by the Carnic and Julian Alps mountain ranges. Dominant gravel, in depth cemented in conglomerate banks and intercalated with sand and clay, permeable, deep water table (40 m).
Ampelographic features Apex: open apex, glabrous or nearly so, anthocyanin pigmentation absent or at the margins. Apical leaflets (1st to 3rd): pentagonal shape, bronze colour, with low density of creeping hairs. Basal leaflets (4th onwards): pentagonal in shape and lacking anthocyanin pigmentation. Sprout axis: curved or almost erect.
Notes Downy mildew resistant and powdery mildew tolerant variety, adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of central-northern Italy.
