A 100% Cabernet Franc made from an estate in a prime location, with vineyards close to the coast. The grapes were hand-picked into crates and selected on two sorting tables. Maceration was alternated with daily pumping over and manual punching down for 25 days, at a controlled temperature of around 28-30°C. The wine was then racked into barriques and tonneaux, partly new, made of French and Austrian oak, where malolactic fermentation was completed. A delicately seductive aromatic bouquet, evoking precious aromas of blackberry and raspberry, hints of roasted meat, marine scrub, cloves, and mentholated tobacco.
