A wine of rare complexity, an explosion of aromas reminiscent of beeswax, almonds, chestnut honey, bergamot, pear, and black tea, with a floral undertone of lime blossom and alfalfa. Fermentation takes place on the skins in truncated cone-shaped oak vats for 60-90 days. Aged in 20 and 30 hl barrels for 23 months and then in bottle for 6 months. The color is a slightly opalescent antique golden yellow.
