The company's land is home to \u003cb\u003eCabernet Sauvignon\u003c\/b\u003e, \u003cb\u003eCabernet\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cb\u003eFranc\u003c\/b\u003e, \u003cb\u003eMerlot\u003c\/b\u003e, and \u003cb\u003eSyrah\u003c\/b\u003e grape varieties. The blend that makes up Villa Donoratico is made from 30% Cabernet Franc, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. Cultivation ensures good exposure to the sun and constant ventilation, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally. Depending on the weather conditions throughout the year, especially during the summer, the harvest begins more or less punctually. The best grapes are hand-picked and selected on a double sorting table. During the winemaking process, all grape varieties are processed separately. \u003cb\u003eBolgheri Rosso Villa Donoratico\u003c\/b\u003e undergoes \u003cb\u003efermentation\u003c\/b\u003e and \u003cb\u003emaceration\u003c\/b\u003e in stainless steel tanks for approximately 20-25 days at a controlled temperature of 28°C, while \u003cb\u003eaging\u003c\/b\u003e takes place in 225-liter French oak barriques for approximately 12-14 months, where malolactic fermentation is completed.
