| History | The Malbech vine is of French origin, very popular in Bordeaux. It appears that his name derives from the name of the owner who first implanted it in the Medoc. Malbech appears to have come to Italy around the mid-1800s, but only in 1881 the Conte Provana of Collegno (Turin) illustrated Malbech at the ampelographic display of Pinerolo. |
