The rum is aged in \u003cb\u003eoak ex-bourbon\u003c\/b\u003e barrels: Demerara Distillers produces various spirits, called \u003cb\u003e\"marks\u003c\/b\u003e, from a stock of approximately 100,000 barrels. El Dorado is born from the blend of various rums: the youngest distillate is no less than 12 years old. Amber in color, a strong flavor with hints of honey and sugar, and a long, lingering finish that's a real treat: enriched by the scent of oak wood, where it completes its aging, this spirit is a versatile product with great character.
