The proximity to the Adriatic Sea and protection from cold winds create an ideal microclimate, where temperature variations enhance aromatic richness. The \u003cstrong\u003esoils of Eocene sandstone\u003c\/strong\u003e, formed from ancient seabeds, alternate with \u003cstrong\u003edeep alluvial soils\u003c\/strong\u003e rich in pebbles. This particular geological composition imparts a distinctive savoury character to the wine.
