Moderate wood stops just short of fighting with the intensely floral and spice-suffused nose of mostly red berry fruit aromas. There is excellent punch to the delineated and markedly mineral-driven flavors that culminate in a balanced and beautifully persistent finish. As is usually the case, this beauty is a combination of refinement and power.
