The Laherte Frères winery is a small family owned Champagne family, divided into 72 microparcels spread across the region for a total of 10 hectares of vineyard. It was founded in 1889 by Jean-Baptiste Laherte and today is led by the Christian and Thierry brothers, assisted by their nephew Aurélien, the sixth generation of the family, respecting the criteria of biodynamic agriculture.
The vineyards of the Laherte brothers extend to three different locations in Champagne: Épernay, Côte des blancs, Vallée de la Marne; For a total of 10 Cru historians. The cultivation philosophy envisions absolute respect for traditions and preferences for natural methods replacing chemicals: the use of plant compounds to increase the defensive capacity of vines, non-invasive pruning that maintain a heightened foliage, work organization and Of treatments according to the most favorable days. The production process involves separate vinification for each Cru, so that it also enhances microclimate variations, followed by a selection and combination of wines produced to create a harmonious, elegant and fruity Champagne. The fermentations are slow and spontaneous, and before bottling, one or two passages are made.
The Champagnes of the Laherte brothers are wines of a brilliant cleansing, with a clear and genuine flavor, the fruit of cultivation and production processes based on nonconventional and sustainable systems. These are elegant and refined wines that evoke the flavor of the grapes and the soil from which they originated. All gamma products are of high quality and can also hit the most enchanted palates, where bubbles explode, giving the rich variety of aromas and flavors that only the best Champagne can give.
