At the foot of the Maures Massif, in the small commune of Cannet-des-Maures, extends the great property of Chateau Riotor between vineyards, pine forests and Mediterranean scrub. The cellar historically belongs to the Abeille family, represented today by the fourth generation of brothers Jean and Henri, skilled and skilled vintners. After a profound renewal involving the company, the supply of the most modern production machinery and the introduction of temperature control systems, the cellar was acquired by the nearby Chateau du Mont Redon, which still holds the rights of property.
The grounds extend around the cellar for 85 hectares, of which 48 are viticut. Among the main vines, rooted here on a red soil rich in humus, warmed by a warm and constant sunshine, we find the Grenache, the Syrah, the Cinsault, but also the Rolle and the Clairette. These are traditionally linked to Provence, cultivated for centuries, from which intense and pleasant wines are born, with fresh and very refined aromas.
Among the ancient buildings and stone walls is a modern cellar with the latest machinery, able to guarantee the best quality, respecting the great Provencal oenological tradition. From here they are born among the best French rosé wines, rich and elegant, characterized by a particular and very intriguing complexity. Originated by a rich and fragrant land, among Mediterranean pines and breezes, the Chateau Riotor wines communicate all the magic of an extraordinary territory rich in tradition and culture, cradle of indispensable flavors.
