An ancient dwelling of the '700 immersed in the vineyards of the Colli Orientali del Friuli has been home to the winery for almost forty years. Once through the door, one gets the impression that time has stopped. An ancient atmosphere pervades every corner and takes us by the hand.
The company was born from the passion of my father Sergio who, in the '70s, bought the first hectare of vineyard to satisfy the desire to taste together with his closest friends a good glass of genuine and authentic wine.
Slowly, over the course of about 40 years, the company has grown and has reached the current size of nine hectares. Now I, Anna, lead the cellar with a lot of passion and gratitude towards my origins. I feel an intense connection with the company because it pushed me to make a big change in my life. I worked as a biologist and I did not think that the future would give me great news, then the growth of the company and the need to dedicate new energy and ideas led me to make an important choice in 1999. From my life in Ferrara surrounded by the tubes in Albana di Prepotto surrounded by barrels and vineyards ... I have no regrets!
From our nine hectares of vineyards, which mainly extend into the hills, we obtain wines of considerable value and intense aromas. Following the tradition, day by day we try to enhance our land. For this reason we prefer the cultivation of native vines: Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Verduzzo Friulano and Picolit among the whites, Refosco dal peduncolo rosso and Schioppettino di Prepotto among the reds. In addition to these local varieties, Sauvignon is still the flagship of our company. Among the international reds we produce Cabernet Franc, Merlot. Our job is to make wine, but since 2003 we have opened a nice and well-kept agritouristic accommodation, where we offer our guests a very familiar welcome.
The doors of the company are always open for a visit to the winery or for a tasting of our wines in the enchanting terrace overlooking the vineyards.
An experience that I highly recommend. I wait for you…
