Zones de culture This grape is cultivated in the Valdigne, on the slopes of Mount Bianco, even over 1000 m. a.s.l.
Histoire The Prié blanc grape variety is a native of Valdosta, whose origins are still uncertain. It could come from the Savoy or Valais area, but in any case its presence in the land given for a very long time, and it is here that the vine has undergone the genetic mutations that have led to the assumption of the present characteristics. The first documented records date back to 1838.
Caractéristiques ampélographiques Leaf: medium, pentagonal, trilobated, slightly bulging surface, upper and lower glabrous, medium green color and opaque gloss, with regular and rounded teeth, petiole breast V. Bunch: medium or small, short and pyramidal, rather compact, medium-sized herbaceous peduncle. Acino: medium, of ovoid shape, with prominent and persistent navel, pruinose, thin, tender, yellow-green; Lime floss of neutral flavor.
Caractéristiques du vin obtenu à partir de ce cépage The wine obtained from the pré blanc grape is of straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the palate it is fresh, fruity, herbaceous.
