Histoire |
In classical ampelographs, the citation "Candia malvasia" is rare, while it is more common to find a "mosquito malvasia". Quoted by Bramieri (1818) as "a bunch of spaghetti clusters", from Rovasenda (1877) as "Malvasia cultivated in Alexandria, similar to Asti, which is in Muscat flavor", and also by Molon (1906) describing it Like a "malvasia of Alexandria". |

Leaf: medium size, pentagonal, pentalobata; Petiolar breast at V-U tendency to lira; Deep upper and lower limbs; Lower lateral limbs in lira, little marked; Upper page glabra, green, slightly glossy; A slightly velvety underside, light green color, slightly bent limb, smooth flat planes and markings; Corner at the top of the almost straight terminal lobes; Sharp, irregular teeth, characteristic of the muscat; I-II ribs fairly protruding below, yellowish green on top, velvety, greener and lighter green to the base on the bottom.
Bunch: size more than medium, spatula, elongated, pyramidal, very winged, almost composed; Long peduncle, visible, half-legged, green.
