Vigna dell'Impero is a unique wine that brings out the best of the peculiarities of this Sangiovese grape from Tuscany. The entire production process aims to extract all the noble components of the grape, harvested at ideal phenolic maturity.

Colour

Bright ruby red with garnet shades.

Bouquet

Seductive, with refined scents of black fruit and forest pulp, cinchona, coffee, cloves, resin, leather, and Honduras tobacco.

Flavour

A lively tannic structure, constant throughout the tasting, yet silky, together with tasty minerality constitutes the completion of a full body with a clear aromatic correspondence. Long persistence.

Flamina the voice of reason

I have been using xtrawine for sometime now and I marvel at the range they have. I have also asked about a particular wine producer i like and sent an email and had a reply saying the wines from this producer will be on the list by week end. Brilliant. One small Glitch for some reason they now use UPS and they are a bit of a nightmare. Compared to FedX. But one quick call to Flamina the voice of reason all my fears were sorted. She’s a credit to the company, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable even had time for a bit of a laugh. Buona Giornata
