Ronco Calino Franciacorta Nature 2016

	Perlage Fine and persistent.
	Colour Pale straw yellow with subtle greenish reflections.
	Bouquet It boasts a stylish, aromatic complex with rich fruit notes—pineapple, late-ripening pear, Fuji apple and grapefruit; floral impressions of hawthorn, acacia, and orange blossom and citrus honey. Balsamic and slightly peppery, it recalls eucalyptus leaf and caramel.
	Flavour The taste is of excellent texture and mellowness, simultaneously fresh and lively with a nice dry, tasty, almost saline finish.

Soil composition	A unique soil, mainly limestone and rich in elements to give unique wines.
Cultivation system	Guyot.
No. plants per hectare	6,000-8,000.
Yield per hectare	9,500 kg/hectare.
Harvest	By hand, with small crates between the first and second decades of August.
Vinification	Cooling, soft pressing of the whole grapes to extract only the first must. First fermentation in thermo-conditioned steel tanks at 13-14°C. 35% of the Chardonnay ferments in French oak barrels. Each parcel is vinified separately to enhance the uniqueness of its profile.
Ageing	At least 40 months. The second fermentation occurs in May following the harvest.
