Origin	Village of Solicchiata, Town of Castiglione di Sicilia (Catania) on the northern slope of Mount Etna.
Climate	Altitude: 600 m. a.s.l.
Soil composition	Sandy loam with good content of skeleton.
Cultivation system	Head-training and espalier.
Harvest	By hand, the second decade of October.
Vinification	Maceration in contact with the skins for 18 days followed by soft pressing.
Ageing	3 months in fine-grained, lightly toasted French oak tonneaux. Malolactic fermentation is carried out naturally.
Allergens	Contains sulphites
