Nicosia Etna Bianco Monte San Nicolò Bio 2021
Produced from indigenous Carricante grapes, with the addition of a small percentage of Minnella, coming from the vineyards of the area of Monte San Nicolò, about 550 metres on the south-eastern slopes of Etna, this white wine of great expressiveness presents a wide bouquet of floral and citrus aromas, notes of pear, gooseberry and ginger. In the mouth, it reveals a full and harmonious taste, great freshness, minerality and persistence. It goes well with salted or baked fish, shellfish, and fried seafood but also with soft, tasty cheeses, white meats and orange duck.

Bright straw yellow.

Bouquet

Intense and complex with a wide range of floral aromas, with hints of citrus, gooseberry, pear and ginger.

Flavour

Full-bodied and harmonious, of great freshness, minerality and persistence.

Pairing

Excellent with fish in salt or baked crust, shellfish, and fried seafood, but also in combination with soft cheeses, white meats, orange duck, sweet and sour meatballs. Best served at 10-12°C.

Ageing In stainless steel tanks on fine lees, then about 3-4 months in the bottle.
