Carefully chosen catarratto grapes give life to an elegant charmat method with a typically Sicilian character.

Bouquet

The nose is fragrant with sensations of yellow flowers, lily of the valley, yellow peach, plum and mineral notes.

Flavour

Bright and delicate on the palate, soft foam that releases good freshness and a subtle structure. Good persistence.

Soil composition	Medium texture soils tending to limestone.
Cultivation system	Backrest with Guyot breeding.
Harvest	End of August.
Vinification	Soft pressing of the grapes harvested in boxes. Cold static decantation of the must. Subsequent inoculation with selected yeasts and first fermentation at controlled temperature for about 15 days. Long refermentation in autoclave in the following Spring and isobaric bottling.

Flamina the voice of reason

I have been using xtrawine for sometime now and I marvel at the range they have. I have also asked about a particular wine producer i like and sent an email and had a reply saying the wines from this producer will be on the list by week end. Brilliant. One small Glitch for some reason they now use UPS and they are a bit of a nightmare. Compared to FedX. But one quick call to Flamina the voice of reason all my fears were sorted. She’s a credit to the company, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable even had time for a bit of a laugh. Buona Giornata
