A reference point centred on Chardonnay grapes, which are traditionally interpreted according to the vintage. A feature that opens this Franciacorta's elegant bouquet of aromas after at least 36 months of ageing in the company's cellar.

	Perlage Dense and creamy.
	Colour Bright gold.
	Bouquet Smooth, seductive impressions of bergamot, jasmine, and calycanthus duet with subtly pungent star anise and white pepper, all backgrounded by reassuringly classic fruit: peach and lychee, with a touch of candied almond and butter-crusted pastry.
	Flavour Majestic, elegant, and fine on the palate, effortlessly seducing with an alternation of mint and dried fruit and nuts together with salty notes giving a stylish and persistent finish.

Yield per hectare	8,000 kg/hectare.
Harvest	By hand, with small crates between the last decade of August and the first week of September.
Vinification	In white vinification in a pneumatic press. The first and second pressing are separated. After 12 hours of decanting at 15°C, inoculation of selected yeasts for fermentation partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and partly in barriques (40%). Malolactic fermentation and racking precede the blending, which takes place in April after adding the liqueur de tirage. The wine is bottled, corked with the crown cork and laid down in the stack for the second fermentation.
Ageing	The stacked bottles remain for a minimum of 36 months in the 17th-century cellars before 'remuage'. They are then disgorged, dosed 'Brut', and given a mushroom-shaped cork and cage. At least three months of further ageing are finally required before this Franciacorta is marketed.

Polluting packaging
