Madonna Nera 2013
A wine of structure, good color, great balance, but also elegant. Bottled in a French burgonet with a long neck and sloping shoulders, “Madonna Nera” has a label as black as it name, contrasting with the shiny matt letters designed expressly for the brand. Since only a limited number of bottles of “Madonna Nera” are produced each year, it is very much a niche wine, for palates in search of excellence and rare qualities. Recently, "Madonna Nera" was the only non-Abruzzo wine wine chosen for the official dinners at the G8 conference in Aquila, Italy (8-10 July 2009).

Bouquet

Though rich and dense, with cherry, plum and spice flavors with enough sweet fruit for balance.

Flavour

This red also possesses formidable tannins.
