Soil composition |
Medium-textured, tending to clayey and deep for the Merlot vines, looser for the Sangiovese vines. |
Harvest |
Merlot and Sangiovese harvested between mid and late September. |
Vinification |
Fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature (26 °C) with short maceration, daily pumping over and racking after 18 days. |
Ageing |
8-10 months in barrique and then in bottle before release. |

A modern, lively wine, ideal for creative pairings with dishes from a variety of gastronomic cultures: from goulash to caciucco, from barbecue pork and lamb to pastrami, pizza, savoury pies and, of course, medium-aged cheeses. |
