Henriet Bazin Champagne Grand Cru Leonard Brut Rosé

Perlage

Bright and fine.

Colour

Raspberry pink with orange hues.

Bouquet

It evokes a chalky minerality as well as the scent of lemon, black cherry, blackcurrant, toast and raspberry. Shaken it in the glass, the wine reveals notes of liquorice, black pepper and cloves. With further aeration, hints of cherry stand out.

Flavour

In the mouth, it is fresh with a creamy effervescence. The wine fills the palate with a light taste of red and black fruits such as raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant. Everything is well-balanced thanks to a fresh acidity, well surrounded by mineral tones. The finish is perfectly elegant, enhanced by its acidity revealing the fruitiness.

Pairing

It pairs well with dishes such as raw ham and tomatoes in oil, beef carpaccio and berries, duck breast fillet and cherry sauce, brie and goat cheese with balsamic vinegar, and crème brûlée served with fresh raspberries.
