Fontanafredda Barolo Serralunga D'Alba Renaissance Bio 2018
“The Barolo of hope. Hope comes in various forms. Someone calls it luck, someone calls it adventure, someone calls it courage or vision of the world. Hope is to become ourselves, when it is time to be ourselves: to be life.” (Marco Missiroli)

Colour

The colour is garnet-red with ruby thighlights that take on a slightly orange tone over time.

Bouquet

It has a clear-cut, intense nose with sweet sensations of spices and hints of dried rose and sous bois.

Flavour

The taste is soft, full, velvety, harmonic and vibrant.

Pairing

The Barolo par excellence goes well with important dishes, such as traditional Piedmontese meat main courses and medium-long-aged cheeses. But not only that, if we explore the possibilities of world food and wine we can range in original combinations: from the French boeuf bourguignonne up to Asia with Nasi Goreng, passing through Canada and its smoked meat from Montréal. If you like, it can also accompany the conversation at the end of the meal or a "special" toast!
