Full Bodied and Very Aged Red Wines
Envinate Migan Tinto 2017
The new red from La Orotava Valley, the 2016 Migan is pure Listán Negro pruned in cordón trenzado in the village La Perdoma, which was previously called Migan. The grapes come from two separate plots, 60% from La Habanera and the rest from San Antonio, at different altitudes and with different soils.

Colour

Beautiful bright translucent cherry red colour.

Bouquet

It is a little darker, deeper and slightly broody. Lovely cherry blossom perfume mixes with volcanic basalt minerality, pithy red cherry, red apple skins and subtle sappy stalky spice.

Flavour

The palate is amazingly intense, as you’d expect from fruit from 100+ year old vines. Such crystalline red berry fruits, cherry sherbet nuances, tart electric acids and salty red liquorice complexity. Also super dense, fabulously concentrated and impressively long, with an elegant texture.
