Issued from 5 centuries of tradition, the typical pronounced taste of the Blanquette of Limoux is due to the Mauzac grape. The name “Blanquette de Limoux” comes from the clear colour underneath the Mauzac leaves, a grape called Blanquette in the Limoux Language.
