Contadi Castaldi creates from its Chardonnay the most authentic and elegant version of its Franciacorta wines, in which it is not strength or sugar that gives softness, but the raw material.

The 2019 harvest brought a perfect raw material to the cellar for our Satèn, a plentiful grape with a very linear ripening, which allowed us to rediscover exceptional balances of depth and roundness that had not been found in previous vintages. A vintage that we managed carefully, especially in the aspects of alcohol content and the development of certain aromas, succeeding in preserving and guaranteeing those delicate and refined floral scents that will characterise the sensory profile of this cuvée.
