The area's hilly landscape gives this Sauvignon an unmistakable style, characterised by a delicate balance of fruit and acidity. Marked in its youth by a soft structure enlivened by particular turbulence, after several years of bottle ageing, Sauvignon blanc 'Lafóa' proves to be harmonious and balanced without losing its characteristic freshness.

Intense fruity notes reminiscent of elderberry, acacia flowers and sage accompanied by elegant hints of wood.

Soil composition	It is a relatively dry area with sandy and gravelly soils of moraine origin.
Yield per hectare	4,500 kg/hectare.
Vinification	After a short maceration, the perfectly ripe grapes are pressed. The must ferments half in steel and the rest in barriques.
Ageing	Only the part vinified in barriques is allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation. The final blend is made after the wine has aged for 8 months on its fine lees. Light filtering and bottling follows.
