Chateau Carbonneau Sauvignon Blanc Margot 2020
'Margot' named after our eldest daughter, joined our range in 2007 when we set about producing a 100% Sauvignon Blanc. With our New Zealand heritage it was natural that we sought to produce this fresh, crisp, fruit-filled summer wine.

Flavour

Crisp and sharp at first, this settles to be smooth and soft with gentle acidity and a rich mouthfeel. Honeyed elements combine with lemon patisserie, wild flowers and yellow plu, to give a dense flavour and round mouthfeel. Good persistency with mineral, slightly saline aspects coming in on the finish.

Pairing

This wine is perfect with a creamy fillet of white fish, pan fried squid rings or Oléron oysters.
