Grappa Reserve had already matured in wooden casks for a long period and then it was refined in Madeira island barrels for some months. These barrels had been previously used to mature “Madeira” of the most prestigious wineries. This particularly kind of passage, already tried for whiskey, and experimented by Sibona Distillery on grappa, has proven to be exceptional as regards grappa’s quality results. |
