Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 17 Y.O.
Glenfarclas is one of the few family-run distilleries remaining in Scotland, opened in 1836 and has been owned by the Grant family since over 150 years. Curiosity, distillery mainly uses ex-sherry barrels for aging their single malt, just like the 17-year-old Glenfarclas aged only in ex-sherry barrels for at least 17 years before being bottled at 43% vol.

The complex nose with notes of butter, caramel, sherry flavors and a pinch of peat.

Flavour

On the palate it is good body, slightly sapid but with excellent balance, notes of malt, sherry, cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of peat smoke. The finish is long and spicy with a pinch of smoke on the closure.
