The Bandolaise area is one of the most renowned terroirs in the Provence vineyards. It owes its reputation to a very favourable microclimate, and to its king grape variety "Mourvèdre".
The Bandol appellation is one of the oldest AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) in France, and was recognised in 1941. The quality of Bandol wines is also due to very restrictive specifications with low yields, hand-picking allowing a rigorous selection of grapes. Our vineyard is very fragmented, often on slopes, and pruned in goblet style, which implies a lot of manual work, respecting the traditions of our Appellation.
