A success from ancient history but recently. Precursor of a generation of wine later became famous as the "Super Tuscans", in 1968 was the first attempt to make wine only red grapes (Sangiovese), in sharp contrast to the custom of the time Chianti. Vigorello, despite successive additions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, still retains a typically Tuscan. A historical wine, therefore, of strength and vigor, as the name itself.
The color is a very intense ruby red with violet hues;
The nose has hints of cherry liqueur, blackberry and raspberry jam, with notes of tobacco and spices;
In turn, the taste is soft, full, complex and very balanced, with spicy notes and hints of raspberry and cherry.
