DOC Vermentino di Sardegna
||Sulcis, on the south-western tip of Sardinia.
||Mediterranean climate with low rainfall distributed sporadically throughout the year, but concentrated almost entirely in autumn and winter. Frequent north-westerly wins, high temperatures in spring and summer, mild in autumn, variable from dry and cold to mild in winter.
|Composition of the land
||The soils are naturally sandy and clay-chalky, sub-alkaline, of a rocky, schistous character and medium textured with moderate nutrient levels. Satisfactory levels of minerals add distinctive character.

||Between the secondo and third decade of September.
||The whole berries are gently pressed and the must ferments at 16-18 °C. The wine rests sur lie for a minimum of 2 months.
||Matures in cement vats and then further 2 months in bottle.
||To pair to full-flavoured pasta dishes, grilled fat-rich fish, light meats, medium-aged cheeses.
