||15% Chardonnay, 85% Vermentino
||The name – L’U – comes from the first letters of “L’Umbria”, the same letters as in LUNGAROTTI: once again, this stresses our company’s strong bond with our land. The “satyr” image is from an 18th-century sanguine drawing by Gilles de Ville on display in the Wine Museum of Torgiano.
|Composition of the land
||Medium mixture; tending toward clayey and deep.
||Spurred cordon and Guyot pruning.
||In the first 10 days of September.
||Produced exclusively with free-run juice, following brief cryomaceration it is vinified in stainless steel at low temperature and kept on the fine lees until bottling.
||An elegant, easy-to-drink wine for aperitifs or entire meals; very versatile, particularly suitable for fish soups – such as bouillabaisse or clam chowder – pasta and risotto with seafood, soups with legumes or onions, and with charcuterie.
